Title of Presentation: Bringing the Function to Occupational Therapy

Objectives: 1) What's your Frame of Reference?  2) Helping to Define Occupational Roles  3) How do we Focus on Function while following regulations?

Speaker Biography:  Shaun Fant has been an OT for over 25 years. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Science in OT from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1992. He specializes in Neuro with emphasis on stroke and spinal cord rehab and is NDT Trained. He received his Advanced Clinical Master's Degree in OT from Texas Woman's University with emphasis in education and administration. Shaun has served as staff OT and OT Manager at Covenant Health System in Lubbock, Texas, and has served as Director of Rehab for Jim Thorpe Rehab at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK. He currently serves as Administrative Director of Rehab for Mountain View Hospital. He is married to Dena, also an OT, and has two children, Kayelin- a sophomore at University of Oklahoma and member of the Pride Oklahoma Marching Band, and Nathan- a freshman in high school, Eagle Scout, and member of the Pride of Elgin in Elgin, OK.
