Bryan Hull, JD, MPH
Bryan has extensive experience in providing direction and oversight to lead efforts in code development, reimbursement, and policy education, formerly as part of AOTA and currently as a member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology’s (ASTRO) Advocacy division, which is an organization for radiation oncology physician services. He advocates on behalf of members to insurance companies regarding new and emerging changes to healthcare reimbursement and coding systems and leads national campaigns to educate providers regarding appropriate health care delivery practices.

Course Description: This course describes the current threats to the practice of occupational therapy and how the profession is represented at the national level with respect to healthcare policy and reimbursement. Significant changes to reimbursement and the workforce landscape will be presented, as well as factors that have contributed to these threats to practice. Experiences of OT practitioners and advocates will be shared and potential solutions will be discussed.
This course is free but to obtain credit, a course evaluation must be completed after the presentation.
